Walking city tour with a visit of the colourful farmers’ market. Stroll along picturesque Ljubljanica river and the old town on your own during the free afternoon. Dinner at Ljubljana Castle.

DAY 3
Ljubljana marshes
Head for the enchanting marshlands south of Ljubljana, where the oldest wooden wheel in the world was found. This magic area has quite a few attractions. Visit a farm with tasty local goodies.

DAY 4
To the hills
Visit a fairytale-like Velika Planina. After a cable car ride and a little hike get a taste of tradition at a scenic mountain plateau. Check-in at Bled Lake, one of Slovenia's undisputed highlights. Dinner in a family-owned restaurant.

DAY 5
Lake Bled
Tour of lake Bled and its million-dollar view castle, followed by a ‘Pletna’ boat ride to the romantic island. Lunch and afternoon are off for exploring on your own, relaxation or a gorge hike. Traditional dinner in Radovljica town.

DAY 6
Triglav National Park
A day trip to the mountain plateau of Pokljuka and Bohinj Lake area will include a guided visit to a majestic forest, a cable-car ride to a viewpoint above Bohinj Lake (weather permitting).

DAY 7
Julian Alps
Today we will travel to the stunning Soča River valley, the place of Ernest Hemingway’s ‘Farewell to Arms’. On the way we will take a stunning Vršič mountain pass road to get to the breathtaking Soča valley. Spend a night in the valley.

DAY 8
Emerald River
A perfect start for the adrenaline and views lovers, go for the optional zip-line or raft in the stunning area of Walt Disney’s ‘Narnia 3’ shooting. Learn about the toughest mountain battle in the history of Europe. End up in ‘Slovenian Tuscany’.

DAY 9
In Vino Veritas!
It will be all about hedonism, enjoying the region and its specialties. After a morning relaxation to recharge our batteries, we'll sample some of the best wines Slovenia has to offer. Gourmet dinner at family-owned winery.

DAY 10
Karst
In the region of hidden riches, called Kras (or Karst), we will get lost amongst sleepy medieval villages and vineyards. After a hike in an amazing cave system of Škocjan, visit a prize-winning family-owned wine cellar and Lipica stud farm. We’ll hop across the border to Trieste, Italy for some gelato. Continue to Slovenian coast.

The Adriatic
Explore a jewel of the coast, the lovely town of Piran and it's medieval walls. After a delicious seafood lunch at the sea, do as the locals do - sit back and relax.

Gifts of the Sea
Morning relaxation followed by a visit of the Salt Pans Nature Park and a famous fish farm. Learn about links of locals with the sea. Finish with a typical Istrian farewell dinner in a nearby charming village.
