DAY 1
Welcome!
Transfer from the airport to Bled, followed by welcome drink and dinner.

Overnight: Bled
DAY 2
Lake Bled, the jewel of Slovenia
Explore lake Bled with a boat ride to the island and its church. Then, visit the cliff-perched castle for stunning views of the entire area. End the day with a local dinner at a famous restaurant in Radovljica town.

DAY 3
Bohinj, in the Alps' embrace
Drive to Bohinj lake and take the cable car up to Vogel mountain for one of the best views of the Slovenian Alps. After lunch visit a local bee-keeper and learn about our precious Carniolan bee.

DAY 4
The underground and the sea
Start the day with a visit to one of Slovenia’s highlights, the famous Postojna cave. Nearby Predjama castle will surprise us with its secrets and then we will continue towards the Adriatic sea to our most beautiful coastal town, Piran. Enjoy in a sunset dinner.

DAY 5
Exploring the coastal region
Today, after an easy morning, will visit some of the less-known parts of the coastal region of Slovenia, namely the salt- pans and the picturesque hills overlooking the valley bordering Croatia to the South. Enjoy dinner in this peaceful region.

DAY 6
Lipizzaner horses, wine, the capital
Our way to the capital, Ljubljana, will take us to the famous Lipizzaner stables and to a prize-winning family-owned wine cellar for a wine-tasting and light lunch. Upon arrival to Ljubljana, we will explore the old town on foot, before checking-in at a hotel. Dinner in a local restaurant.

DAYS 7 through 9
Find your roots!
These 4 days are available for genealogy research, facilitated by your Tip Leader, who will arrange the visit to the archives and optional transportation to the regions of your ancestors.*
On day 8, we will go for a dinner with local music and folklore dancing in Ljubljana.

Idrija mine & lace
Today there will be the option of taking an optional tour to Idrija, the town of the world-famous mercury mine and hand-made lace. This will be followed by our farewell dinner.
