Transfer from the airport to the capital, Ljubljana. Welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 2
Ljubljana, the beloved
Walk through streets, squares and bridges and learn about this enchanting old town, crowned with a castle above it. In your free time, enjoy its beauties at your own pace. Dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 3
Kras area
Explore the world famous Postojna cave. Stop for a photo at the mysterious Predjama castle. Discover a prize-winning family-owned wine cellar for a wine-tasting and light lunch. Afternoon visit of Lipica, the home of the famous white Lipizzaner horses.

DAY 4
Idrija's heritage
Visit the UNESCO protected underground tunnels of Idrija mercury mine and learn about traditional lace-making. After a traditional lunch visit the clandestine 2ww hospital of Franja in a hidden gorge.

DAY 5
Lake Bled
Explore beautiful Bled with a boat ride to the island and its church. Then, visit the cliff-perched castle for stunning views of the entire area. End the day with a local dinner at a famous local restaurant in Radovljica town.

DAY 6
Soča river valley
Drive across an Alpine mountain pass to reach the valley of the emerald Soča river, location of Narnia III movie set. Lunch at a local restaurant. Visit the 1ww museum of Kobarid. En route back to Bled, stop at the famous Planica world cup ski-jumping center.

DAY 7
Triglav national park
Visit Bled’s sibling, the larger Bohinj lake. Weather permitting, take a cable car up to mountain and enjoy breathtaking views of the Julian Alps. Share memories of our week in Slovenia during our farewell dinner in the charming town of Radovljica.
